Ещё один грант ЕС для филологического факультета, ставшего центром передового опыта в области европейских исследований!
Проект REVAMP (Raising European Values Across Migration Patterns) одобрен EC с оценкой 96 баллов из 100 возможных. 782 университета по всему миру представили на конкурс ЕС проектные предложения по программе J. Monnet. Проект REVAMP оказался одним из лучших, представленных вузами мира.
Руководителем проекта выступает доцент кафедры иностранных языков Роберта Алонци, академический координатор модуля UTMOST (Understanding and Teaching the EU to future Mass cOmmunication SpecialisTs - Понимание и обучение принципам ЕС будущих специалистов в области массовых коммуникаций), реализующийся в рамках кластера Жана Моне.
Таким образом, проекты Роберты Алонци выиграли два гранта ЕС подряд. Достичь такого успеха стало возможным благодаря поддержке первого проректора по образовательной деятельности РУДН, заведующей кафедрой иностранных языков Юлии Николаевны Эбзеевой и декана филологического факультета Виктора Владимировича Барабаша и других коллег из РУДН.
В команде проекта REVAMP участвуют учёные кафедры иностранных языков филологического факультета РУДН, кафедры маркетинга экономического факультета РУДН, а также из МГУ, Российской Академии Наук и нашего итальянского вуза-партнёра — Университета «Форо Италико» (Рим). Благодаря этому проекту наши студенты смогут приобрести навыки в области европейских исследований, получить образовательный инструмент, полезный для будущей карьеры в сфере межкультурной коммуникации, в международных организациях, специализирующихся в области миграции, и для работы в науке.
В рамках модуля Ж. Монне, студентам предлагается бесплатное обучение.

По итогам модуля обучающимся выдаётся сертификат участника, а при прохождении курса «EU, Migration and Education» и любого другого курса, — сертификат от Римского университета «Форо Италико» — вуза-партнера.

This course enables students to get to know and understand the complex process of European integration and its concrete results in terms of affirming values that favor intercultural dialogue and the inclusion of diversity. Understanding the inclusive potential of Europeaness in a globalized world. Particular attention is paid to the international role of the EU as a facilitator of dialogue between different cultures.

This course enables students to get to know and understand the operating mechanisms of the European Union and the institutions responsible for implementing the EU migration policy, also with reference to the policies adopted by other international organizations. In the second part of the course, in seminar form, students will acquire lexical mastery and knowledge of official EU documents to enhance their skills in the field of translation and interpreting.

The course describes the EU’s migration and asylum policies. The short history is included as well as the analysis of the migration crisis (2015-2016) and its consequences for the modern policies’ developments. Lectures and seminars make students understand the peculiarities of the MS approaches to the Pact on Migration and Asylum, the mechanisms and institutions of the migration and asylum policies, its multilevel governance and external dimension.

This course enables students to get to know and understand the relationship between education and migration and to learn about the activities of the European Union in the field of intercultural education. The course will also cover the aspect related to the construction of democratic citizenship and the role of sport in the inclusion of migrants.
This unit aims to provide background knowledge on the EU Education Policies and Migration. The course will help the students to understand the impact of European Union values on the construction of educational policies and practices aimed at meeting the needs of dialogue between cultures.

The course aims to provide students with a theoretical knowledge of cultural differences in European landscape, specifically social organisation and cultural values which define the understanding of politeness, determine the choice of politeness strategies in different socio-cultural contexts and as a result shape communicative styles.
After a general study of the inclusive values and strategies adopted by the EU, it offers a comprehensive look at communication and shows the interdependence of culture, cognition, language and communication.
It illustrates that in different societies people not only speak different languages but they use them in a different way. These differences have the potential to cause many problems in mutual understanding, and create breaks and even conflicts in intercultural communication. To understand and explain them, it is necessary to see the links between particular ways of speaking and culture.

This course aims at teaching discourse analysis, bearing in mind the increased interest to multidisciplinary approach to discourse studies in the Humanities. The focus of the course is on migration discourse and its existence in various contexts, especially in Europe. In the scope of European migration discourse the course reveals methods for thorough text and talk analysis (semantic, pragmatic, semiotic, stylistic, etc.).
