MA in Political Science, Political Institutions and Values is a new Master’s program offered by the Department of Comparative Politics at the Faculty of Humanitarian and Social Sciences of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia based in Moscow.

The program aims to train professionals with both the knowledge of the country’s rich history and cultural heritage, and the ability to comprehend its contemporary reality, with its achievements and problems, successes and challenges.

The program aspires to help students coming from diverse backgrounds to understand and analyze how Russia lives and works. The students will have a unique opportunity to try to unwrap at least some of this country’s mysteries.

The students can choose the curriculum suited to their academic interests from a large variety of courses. Political science serves as the core of the program, so the students receive a strong background in this particular discipline, but they have many opportunities to augment it with other disciplinary approaches of their choice.
